For those who failed to get a ticket to this week’s BlizzCon, there’s still time to order DirecTV to catch the Saturday broadcast of the convention.
While the free offer to the pay-per-view showing of BlizzCon 2008 expired Sept. 30, O.C. fans can still order DirecTV service today and tomorrow and get it installed by Saturday, the last day of the 2-day event, says Jade Ekstedt, a DirecTV spokesperson.
“I just checked with our install group and based on the current volume we are seeing in the Orange County area today, if a new customer called DIRECTV by tomorrow they can be installed by Saturday. But obviously this is based on call volume that we are seeing today and may change so a new customer’s best bet is to call DIRECTV ASAP and we will get you installed as quickly as possible,” Ekstedt said.
Of course, all DirecTV customers can still order the show for $39.95. But DirecTV won’t re-air coverage at a later date so if you’re hoping to watch BlizzCon after the fact, you’ll need to hit record while it airs.
