This has been one heck of a week.
My gaming rig died day before last. I’m not a tech doc, per se, but I do have the equivalent of a first-aid certification — to no avail, though. So I broke down and bought a new rig, which is in the process of installing Windows.
Lucky for me, my other computer can play “World of Warcraft,” so I downloaded the patch and logged on to find … nothing. Logged on to all three servers I’ve got characters on, and nothing! Looks like the login server’s clogged up, or 3.0 installation is a little more in-depth than expected.
So, what am I doing in the meantime? Well, finishing up the installation on my new box and looking at the WoW minis game that came out this weekend. I didn’t have the chance to play in one of the tourneys of BlizzCon, but I did see a lot of the pieces — it looks really nice for a prepainted mini game. They also had a group of warriors in a diorama with a to-scale Onyxia figure — very, very cool. I can only hope they release her sometime!
