We covered the show and now we’re done. But still intact, one BlizzCon 2008 goody bag.
It, of course, includes the free key to the upcoming StarCraft II beta.
We’re giving it away to someone who leaves a comment on the blog. Make sure to leave a valid e-mail address so we can contact you. We’ll pick a random winner from the comments at the end of day Sunday, Oct. 19. We’ll ship it to anywhere in the U.S.

Ticket prices were too steep for our budget in this economy. Not being able to go was a real blow to my WoW-loving family. They play, on average, 45 hours a week (x 4 weeks=180 hours a month)–no kidding.
This game has changed the way we live. In order for me to retain my sanity and connection to my family, I had to play or develop an interest in another hobby. I’ve done both. I make sure everyone still keeps in touch with and sets foot in the “real world” even though they insist they are connecting with “real” people in WoW lands.
If, by chance, I could win this amazing bag of WoW goodies, they would love me forever. And it would be a sweet reward for my daughter who just got her mage to 70 yesterday! (Ya, I understand the lingo or I wouldn’t be able to communicate with them!)

My friend was doing backflips over going to this thing, and I figured, since he’s sitting 5 feet away from me right now, I’d enter in to this to try and win this for him. Looks like pretty good odds at the moment.

WOW!! (no pun intended) What a great deal. It almost makes up for how Blizzard is deciding to charge money for Battle.net features which were previously free. I have been a consumer for Blizzard’s products for many years, but this decision made lose a bit of faith in their current decisions as of late….

Wow. I also found this on craiglist. What a great chance for all of us who weren’t able to attend. great content on your coverage too. Who knew, for those who didn’t go and don’t have direct tv, all this gives a good idea of what blizzcon was like. Like many i also put in the time to try and buy tickets with no luck. it truely was a lottery for all. I ended up going to the first day, but i had to go through a scalper, i got what i really wanted though, just to go and experience it. the bag would just be a bonus
