Dance your heart out … or your opponent’s

PvP Dance — the holy grail of MMO player contests. Only the truly dedicated, the truly skilled — only they can truly bring it.

And it’s on in “World of Warcraft” — the new dance mechanics will test players’ rhythm and moves in a winner-takes-all format.

(For a moment, I was worried that we’d be pimping our rides in the U.S., too — nice to see a different April 1 post on both sides of the pond.)

  • Speaking of April Fool’s Day, but Blizzard hasn’t done anything yet — at least for its U.S. site. In previous years, the company’s announced a “Guitar Hero” inspired bard class and a two-headed ogre race for “World of Warcraft.” On the European, site, however, is a “Pimp My Ride” program for in-game mounts — looks like shenanigans are afoot.
